Last Thursday, November 7, 2019, Phone.com was honored to host Gov. Phil Murphy of New Jersey at our office in the beautiful and historic Hahne & Co. building in downtown Newark, NJ.
The governor explored our innovative workspace and took the time to meet our NJ team who, frankly, could not wait to express their excitement about the whirlwind of innovation and growth surrounding both Phone.com and Newark. Headquartered in the largest city of the state that invented the telephone, we are quite proud of our position as a telecom industry leader.
The governor’s visit was part of his campaign for new incentive programs to promote and foster continued technology innovation across the Garden State. As one of many beneficiaries – and strongest advocates for the state’s Economic Development Authority, Phone.com has firsthand experience as to the value its programs bring to startups and entrepreneurs.
For us and our partners (and hosts) at Launchpad, it was a genuine thrill to showcase this amazing co-working space of which we are the anchor tenant, and reinforce our joint commitment to keep Newark thriving.
We’ve not only grown our headcount 10-fold, but also continue to extend our support of small businesses with award-winning cloud communications services tailored for an agile, evolving workforce.
